BEGINNER BELLY DANCE COURSE

Level 1 – Beginner Belly Dance course:
This course is suitable for absolute beginners. In class we focus on the foundations of belly dance by preparing and strengthening the relevant muscles used for belly dance which leads to effectively isolating your muscles. We develop our belly dance technique progressively over five weeks and continuously practice challenging combinations and exciting choreographies to traditional arabic rhythms and uptempo tunes.
What to carry with you in class?
Please bring a bottle of water to class and come fifteen minutes early to complete the health and safety forms at reception. There are lockers and change rooms available at the gym. We dance in bare feet or ballet/belly dance slipper/shoes. Comfortable stretch gym/dance trousers or skirts are ideal, traditional coined belly dance hip-scarves can be purchased in class for £10.
